It is easy to be overwhelmed by the idea that you need to “get organized.” It doesn’t have to mean making your pantry pinterest perfect. It means adding systems and simplifying things in your life. Instead of starting with your entire kitchen or your closet, find one small thing that you can change and start there. Today I’m sharing five items that can help you make small, but significant changes in your home.

GIFT WRAP STORAGE

Be prepared for Christmas 2023 by organizing your leftover gift wrap now.  This organizer has a variety of pockets to store wrapping paper and gift bags, as well as accessories such as ribbon, tape, and scissors. The best part is that you can hang it up in the back of a closet so it is out of the way until you need it. You can find it here.

LAZY SUSAN/TURNTABLE

One of my favorite organizing products! A turntable can be used in any part of the house. It can be a game changer for items on a high shelf. It also works well in a hard-to-reach corner cabinet, on a bathroom counter, and under the kitchen sink. Do you have a pantry shelf with a ton of bottles but no system? Add a turntable and the problem is solved. Learn more about this product here.

DEEP PLASTIC STORAGE BINS

These bins are great for deep pantry shelves and lower cabinets. With 16” in length, you can slide them out like a drawer. They are ideal for canned goods, food packets, drink boxes, baby food, boxed foods, and pasta. Use them side by side to create the storage solution that works best for you. Take a peek at them here.

BAMBOO DRAWER DIVIDERS

Customize your drawer with these bamboo dividers and inserts. You can organize everything from silverware to a “junk” drawer. The mini dividers can be easily inserted to make smaller or larger storage sections. The spring-loaded design makes them sturdy, with non-slip rubber pads at each end, keeping them in place. They come in two lengths so measure your drawers before purchasing. You can find them here.

MESH ZIPPER POUCHES

These mesh pouches make it easy to organize and sort a variety of items throughout your home. Water and moisture resistant, they are also great for traveling. Use them to store documents, school and office supplies, or tech accessories. Mesh pouches are also a great way to store games and puzzles. Label the outside and keep them all in a bin. No more crushed boxes and they take up less space. Discover more here.

Take small steps in 2023 to improve the function and organization in your home. Be patient, prioritize your needs, and give yourself some grace.

Until next time,

Leslie
